Examples of our Intermediate Photo Restoration
Below are some of the restorations we have done recently that fall under our Intermediate Service.
Example #3: Repair sun faded & creased photograph

This photo had been torn & creased to fit a frame and a long time in the sun has faded the colour. The colour has faded too much to revive but we can recover good contrast detail for a Black & White image. The creases are repaired recovering as much of the original photo as possible.
Example #4: Restore torn photo

The huge tear in this photo is a clean one and so repair falls under our intermediate level. The yellow colour cast is removed to produce a bright, vibrant wedding photo.
Example #5: Restoring fogged film

Light has somehow got in and fogged the undeveloped film so the resulting prints have the red fogging effect seen here - ruining these special wedding photos. Luckily our restoration technicians can remove the fogging effects, selectively removing the colour cast and difference in brightness. Enough of the path remains to "paint" over the flare spot at the bottom.
Example #6: Restoration of burnt documents

Our Photo Restoration service is applied to a paper document here. The original has been discoloured and scorched in a house fire, water has also smudge the ink in places. We were able to remove the scorch marks and recreated a parchment background so this important certificate is saved for the next generation.
Example #7: Repair of yellowed sellotape damage

Sticky tape has yellowed the edges here - which are already torn and uneven. This is soon cleaned up and the edges filled in to create a lovely black and white photo.
